NYCFHC Men & Ladies Wrap Half-Season in Strong Positions

The first half of the 2024/25 season has officially wrapped! Going into the break both the NYCFHC Mens and Ladies teams are sitting in strong positions in their respective leagues.

The NEFHA Ladies league is extremely tight with 3 teams sitting on 12 points including our NYC Ladies team, who won 4 of their 5 games. They're currently sitting in 3rd on goal difference only.

The NYC Mens team after a slow start to the season have managed to rack up 3 wins from their 6 games. They finish the half-season sitting on 9 points and in 4th position in the league (so in the Playoffs!) Last weekend they narrowly lost to current league leaders Rye & Westchester in an extremely tight match finishing 2-1, with our Blue Boys hitting the post with the final play of the match!

No more NEFHA league now until the spring. But with winter incoming focus shifts to indoor hockey, so keep an eye out for NYCFHC teams popping up at some of the major indoor hockey tournaments that take place over the winter months.
