2025/26 Season is Underway!

And we're off....

This last Sunday 14th September was the official start of the 2025/26 NEFHA Men's League for our cherished NYCFHC teams. Bathed in sunshine, under-hydrated and likely carrying a few extra pounds after very enjoyable summers away, NYCFHC and sister team NYC Manhattan went head to head in a Club Derby to kick things off with a bang.

Both teams welcomed back many of their established players (young and older) while introducing a few new ones (and Ringers) too. For NYCFHC it was special to have Leo "Jazz Man" Cy back in NYC and on the pitch showing off the silky hand skills that make him such an ace at the jazz harmonica (check out his Insta!).

A highly competitive and thoroughly enjoyable game was had. Both teams threw everything at it despite the searing heat. NYCFHC coming out eventual winners 2-0. But both teams are looking in good shape heading into the season.

NYCHFC top of the league! We'll take it.
